Therefore, we have designed an automated data processing solution so that foreign news reaches viewers and listeners in our country as quickly as possible.
Czech News Agency was looking for a solution that would ensure the fastest and highest quality translations of their short press releases for its Protext PR service.

“We receive news on a 24/7 basis, including weekends and public holidays,” says Václav Baláček, translator and co-owner of České překlady. The journalists insisted on sending the translation text in the body of their e-mail and wanted the completed translation back the same way.
“It would be a step backwards for us to appoint a team of translators who would be on stand-by, copy texts from e-mails to word processors, then back to the e-mail after translation and send the translated texts manually. Furthermore, it would be practically impossible. That’s why we had IT specialists write a script that automates the process for us,” says Václav about the solution which the translation agency designed.
How exactly does it work?
“The script reads the subject line of e-mails and sends the texts to our translation studio, which is used by a team of experienced and verified translators. They are notified about the details of new jobs by e-mail. After the translations have been produced and checked, e-mails containing the translations are automatically generated. These are then sent to the client, i.e. the PR service of Czech News Agency,” Baláček adds.
Thanks to the automation of the process of ordering and delivering translations, we translate press releases from global press agencies in an express mode within 24 or 48 hours, including weekends.
