Kristýna Lakomá and Her Second Challenge at České překlady – Working as Office Manager

- Kristýna Lakomá has taken on the position of office manager, substituting for our colleague Alžběta Brilová, who is now on parental leave.
- Kristýna is responsible for communication with the billing department, the processing of incoming and outgoing invoices, and other office tasks.
Though she has been an office manager at České překlady for less than a year, most of you have already had the honour of communicating with her, primarily through e-mail.
After completing her post as a substitute project manager last year, Kristýna barely had a moment’s rest before immediately moving on to another challenging role. She is passionate about learning all there is to know about the translation business, as she currently studies translation at Palacký University in Olomouc and wants to pursue a future career in this field.
The German language is not only the basis of her future profession, but also a hobby, and whenever she has the opportunity, she spends her free time translating and interpreting. Her other hobbies include street dancing, pursuing a healthy lifestyle, long walks with her dog, and enjoying good food with friends. She also loves visiting the teahouses of Olomouc and sipping various teas, such as Irish Cream black tea 🙂
