- Kateřina Tomíčková has been named Head of the Project Management Department of the Olomouc branch, which is focused exclusively on the foreign market.
- She is responsible for the complete management of projects and for leading the team of project managers.
She has been working as a project manager at České překlady since 2018, but due to her years of experience in the translation environment, the move to a new position should be an interesting challenge for her.
She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a focus on interpreting and translation at the Palacký University in Olomouc, and completed her Master’s Degree at the Charles University in Prague with the same specialisation in 2019.
English is not only her profession, but also a hobby. When not managing the day-to-day operations at our Olomouc branch, she spends much of her free time translating or proofreading as well as travelling to the United States to utilize her skills by blending into the Southern U.S. culture using the conjunctive ‘Y’all.’
When she is not trying to recreate culinary marvels from baking tv shows, she loves defying gravity in aerial silks and twisting into pretzels while doing yoga.
