How to send content for translation in WordPress using WPML

Does your website or e-shop run on WordPress? Do you need to translate content to reach more audiences?

The instructions below will show you how to do this easily using the WPML plugin


 

First, we’ll go over how to connect České překlady with WPML (you need to do this only once) and then how to send content for translation.

 

1. Go to the Translation Dashboard from the WPML left-hand menu and switch to the Translators tab.

 

2. Find České překlady under Translation Services and click Authenticate.

 

3. Add the API token and click Submit. If you don’t have a token yet, contact us to receive one.

 

4. To send content for translation, click on the Translation Dashboard tab.

 

5. Expand each section and use filters to find and select all content you want to translate.

 

6. Scroll down to Step 2, choose “Assign translation service” as translation method and click Translate. WPML sends the translation jobs to České překlady directly.

 

7. Switch to the Translation Jobs tab to see translation jobs. Here, you can get translations when they’re ready.

 

Receiving translations manually

By default, WPML receives completed translations automatically. If you want to receive them manually instead:

 

1. Go to Settings from the WPML side menu.

 

2. Scroll to Translation pickup mode. Keep automatic delivery or select the manual method.

 

With the manual method, go to Translation jobs and click to get translations when they’re ready.
