Meet Central Europe is a conference for language professionals, this year focusing on vendor management (i.e. liaison with translators and interpreters) and field-related pitfalls.
At its first edition last year in Budapest we were represented by our colleague Gabriela. You can read her report here. This year’s edition is being held in Prague, the City of a Hundred Spires, and our agency will be dispatching an entire team of four fantastic women to attend. Judge for yourselves:
they boast more than 54 years’ experience in the translation industry;
they drink at least 30 cups of coffee weekly;
they climb 57 stairs every day to get to their office;
they can speak 8 languages;
they have visited more than 70 countries, and;
most importantly, they can’t wait for this year’s edition of MCE to start and look forward to seeing you there!
Let’s see what they have to say about themselves:
Gabriela Kadlecová – Vendor Manager
I have served in various roles during the six years I have worked with translating agencies. I began as a freelance translator and later worked as a vendor manager, and I loved every bit of both of these jobs. Currently buried in vendor automation processes, I’m looking forward to another inspirational MCE event, and I can’t wait to meet some like-minded fellow-translators and vendors, share some of our best practices and discuss the challenges we face every day.
Zuzana Dvouletá – Head of Sales
I am so proud to join MCE in a 3-in-1 capacity – an attendee, an exhibitor and a member of the organizing association. Viva Meet Central Europe Prague 2019.
I believe in investment into relationships. I want to meet people face to face who I only know through email. I am really looking forward to feeling the positive energy of translation field enthusiasts and see many smiles.
Find me at (pink) Booth No. 8 – České překlady (Czech Translations).
Klára Svozilová – Sales Manager
It will be my pleasure to meet you in Prague, the very heart of Europe. MCE is a great opportunity to enjoy the company of like-minded people, network and taste great Czech food and drinks. Which reminds me … you are all welcome to stop by at our booth and try our delicious handmade gingerbread cookies.
Irena Šotková – Account Manager
I have been working in the translation industry for more than 20 years and over that time I have met so many wonderful colleagues I can´t even remember their names.
Therefore I really appreciate the opportunity to get in touch with my old friends, meet new translation professionals and gain information about new trends in our industry at the MCE conference in Prague. Don´t miss me at our booth and join us during the tongue-twister contest!
Date and time: 10–11 October 2019, 8am – 6pm
Venue: Hotel International Prague, Koulova 15, Prague 6
